Another fun, yet strangely emotional night of PubGuys Trivia. First off, I decided, understanding the risk involved, to skip out on having a nice, expensive, candlelit dinner with the wife as we celebrate our anniversary. Instead, I told her to cancel all plans and get her rear end over to the World of Beer for trivia. I know, Husband of the Year. Thankfully, and rightfully so, I married a pretty cool chick and she came out so we would be able to spend our anniversary with the PubGuys and all our World of Beer Trivia-loving friends. 

It was also a tough night because we had to say goodbye to one of our trivia teams, Dr. Acula. Matt and Erin have been playing trivia with the PubGuys for a while, but they've been following me around the metroplex as I've hosted trivia for the past several years. They're off to start a new adventure in Denver, so we certainly wish them well, and decided to send them off with an awesome night of trivia. 

Now, to the game....

Dave's Angels returned with a few extra people this week and apparently loaded up on brainiacs as they walked away with the top spot after the opening game of trivia. We're Back for the Beer also returned with some new faces and took home second place edging out frequent favorites, Bar, Quizz in My Pants, and Brews Your Daddy!

In the Power Hour, William Shatnerface redeemed their sub-par performance in the opening game by dominating the Power Hour. Finishing just behind them was Dr. Acula and Brews Your Daddy. 

Fun stuff we learned:

• There are 170 Billion in existence and we've all owned thousands of them - STD's
• Barack Obama was a 42-1 underdog that knocked out Mike Tyson in 1990
• Mark David Chapman assassinated Oprah
• The final event of the men's decathlon is muff diving....
• Futons originated in the country of Kentucky
• and Diogenes walked around constantly in search of hookers and blow.
