You guys really know how to show your love.

I'll let you in on a little-known fact about the bar business. August is a terrible month. Most people are on vacation, or they are spending time shopping for school supplies, or simply dreading that school is about to start back up. For these reasons, and probably a few more, historically, August is a bad month. This week at the World of Beer in Arlington was quite the exception. Not only did we have a solid turnout, but all but one team was a returning team. This means that you guys truly are hooked on PubGuys Trivia. And really, who can blame you? To make the night even sweeter, we had our highest number of bonus points awarded of any night in our history. If you're curious, you can very easily earn a bonus point for your team by 1) signing up for the World of Beer Loyalty Club, 2) wearing your Loyalty Club shirt, 3) purchasing a PubGuys Trivia shirt (link here), 4) wearing your newly purchased PubGuys Trivia shirt. To be honest, our PubGuys Trivia shirts have only been available for a few weeks, so not many people are/were aware that we have them for sale (BTW, they're $15 and tax is already included).
So, we had about 12 players wearing their WOB Loyalty shirts, 1 PubGuys shirt, and 1 PubGuys hat (thanks Robert). To continue the awesomeness, I sold 3 more PubGuys shirts, and had 2 teams sign up a new member for the WOB Loyalty Club. Truly, you guys are the best.

Regarding the game, we saw, once again, a clean sweep by a team which is quickly becoming a juggernaut in the trivia world, the Mouseaholics. They've got an army of players all equipped with their Loyalty Shirts, PubGuys shirts, and an undeniable amount of knowledge. When the PubGuys Trivia League starts back up on September 1, they're going to be quite the force. In the opening game, the Trivia Wannabees finally broke cracked the top 2, and in the Power Hour, we saw the small but mighty team of We're Here for the Beer! take home second place.
