What an interesting night that was... 

The night started like any other Wednesday night at WOB, with good beer and excelent company. Trivia was set to get started shortly. Only one problem. There's no WiFi! Uh oh! This is going to be a challenge. Luckily Randall happened to be assisting tonight, and he knows a bit about fixing that kind of issue. A little bit of tweeking (not twerking,) and the problem was fixed and we were ready to roll...or were we. "What do you mean there's no music? What now? Oh well, it's time to play."

Round One started off great, despite the tech issues. The place was packed, and the teams were ready for the brain duel to commence.We dove into some sports, pop culture, and music questions to start. Speaking of music, the issue was resolved by the end of the round, and everything was running smoothly. Round Two brought us another challenging theme that everyone seemed to be able to manage. Ties for second stayed all the way up until the end of Round Three. When all was said and done, Guidonian Hands, after keeping a commanding lead during the game, took First Place. Just theTip gave it to us again, and took Second.

After a short break, it was time for the Hour of Power! A few teams went home leaving the "Die Hards" to duke it out. We learned that "The Star Spangled Banner" is what Francis Scott Key actually called our nations flag, and the word Frankenstein can still evoke strong emotions in the audience. Round Two was a "total mystery", but the players had no trouble with the theme. At the end of the night we had the same results as Game One. Just the Tip hung in there all night to take Second once again, and Guidonian Hands commanded much respect for their First place finish!
