With summer in full swing, it’s time for many of us to take a break from the norm. My annual getaway is to the west coast to visit friends from my high school years, drink beers and play board games for four days. This year, the event was hosted in Portland, which made for a wonderful break from the heat. I’d like to send a huge thank you shout to PGMarcus for covering for me while I worked on perfecting my liver and brain function.

We had some new players this week that now have the PubGuys itch. (Which sounds dirty, now that I write it…) I enjoy watching people who are unaware of our games decide to participate, then amaze themselves at what they know. Half of our teams were new players, and most of them commented to me that they’d need to bring in reinforcements for next time to get a broader base of trivia knowledge!

So, a hearty (if itchy) welcome to That's Inconceivable!, Boats and Hoes, and Killer Rabbits. Our returning players were in fine form as well, with the capable Mutha Farg'n Ice Holes taking first in both games.

So we hope to see you out next week, and bring a solid group of smart folks that like beer for another awesome night with the PubGuys!
