We had 8 teams this week and it was quite the game in The Wolf Den at False Idol Brewing! There were ties every round except for Round 3 and throughout the game there was usually only a two point spread between 1st and 2nd place! We had the return of Raise the Bar this week going at it with another set of our regulars, The Omicronicles. There were some fresh faces in the house, too, with The Dawner Party and Prom Night Dumpster Baby coming in strong during every round. I haven't had a game this close since I started hosting with PubGuys and I hope we can keep enticing smart players to come out and give it their all! 

Game 1

Ties, ties, ties! We had a four way tie for 1st place (of the round) in Round 1, and a 3 way tie for 1st in Rounds 2 & 5! We played some spectacular games of Rock, Paper, Scissors, to determine the winners of the ties, and each winner for the round received a set of FREE beer tasters for their team! To me that's a great way to encourage people to stay the whole game: FREE BEER! Halfway through the game Raise the Bar was only ahead with a one point lead against The Omicronicles. At the end of the game Raise the Bar ended up winning the whole game with only a two point lead! As a matter of fact the overall 2nd place was a tie, so Raise the Bar only beat out two other teams by two points with a score of 48. What was the question that stumped everyone? Here we go:

If this week was SOOOO close then it is clear that ANYONE can give PubGuys trivia a shot! Even if you don't win the overall game you could still get yourself some beer tasters for your team just for playing. Football season is alsmost over but all throughout the season False Idol had every Thursday night game on, so you could play trivia and keep up with your favorite teams, too!
