Game 1:
A fun filled night of great food, cold beer, and amazing Trivia! Joining us this night were our regulars of Billy Bad Teams and Spooning Leads to Forking. We welcomed into our trivia family And in Last Place, Bucknuts and Team Ingram.
One spell never cast in Harry Potter was Infundibulum as that is part of the human body. Not a very Cosmopolitan answer but who knew that Helen Gurley Brown was editor and chief of that ‘fashion magazine’ for 32 years? Going into round 2 we had a fun tie for first between And in Last Place and Billy Bad Teams all knotted up at 7. Who would take the win? Bucknuts had a great round 3 but just fell short, stepping over Billy Bad Teams to take 2nd. Congrats to our first-place winners – And in Last Place. Again, I think they name may need to change…
Game 2:
Would we see more of the same in game 2? Oh Yes, we would! We welcomed in Team Ingram to game 2. With 2 close rounds we had Bucknuts leading into the 3rd round with a 1-point lead over Billy Bad Teams and And in Last Place. We went Biblical here and the game changing question was to answer what the name of Moses’ sister is. A game changing, final question to end our 2nd game. Congrats to Billy Bad Teams on getting the correct answer of Miriam. However, And Last place would not be denied again and took a leap with an amazing round 3 to take yet again first. Congrats to our first back-to-back winners at the amazing CBC Southlake tap room!
What an amazing night, what an amazing venue, what an amazing staff!! Foo was hot and fresh, and the beer was delicious and cold. I look forward to seeing you next Monday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at the CBC Southlake Tap Room!
