Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was everything a great trivia night should be—wall-to-wall teams, nonstop banter, pints flowing, and just the right amount of chaos. The brewery was absolutely packed, the crowd brought the energy, and PubGuys Trivia delivered two hard-fought games with plenty of twists, turns, and bonus questions to keep everyone on their toes.

Game 1 Recap

Game 1 kicked off with a tight first round as teams felt out the questions and settled into rhythm. After Round 2, Beer is good surged ahead thanks to a massive 9-point round, narrowly edging out Snowed Out and Beer is Life, who were both lurking just a point behind. Heading into Round 3, the leaderboard was stacked, and every answer mattered. Bonus questions proved crucial, and Beer is good held steady to lock up first place with 19 points.

Second place came down to a tie between Snowed Out and Beer is Life, both finishing on 18 points. Per tradition, a single tiebreaker question was issued—one player per team, ten seconds on the clock, no room for error. In a clutch moment, Snowed Out edged it out, claiming second, while Beer is Life settled into third. Rounding out the chase pack were Last Call Legends and a three-way logjam at 16 points that kept the standings tight all the way down the board.

Game 2 Recap

If Game 1 was close, Game 2 was downright ruthless. From the opening round, Beer is Life and Espresso Martinis came out swinging with matching 8-point starts. After Round 2, Espresso Martinis grabbed a slight edge with a strong 7-point round, but Beer is Life refused to back down, keeping pace as the bonus questions loomed large.

Round 3 tightened the screws even further, and when the dust settled, both teams were deadlocked at 19 points. Once again, it all came down to a single tiebreaker question. Ten seconds. One answer. The room went silent. When the answers were turned in, Beer is Life claimed the win, with Espresso Martinis finishing a very close second. Something Random played a consistently strong game to secure third with 16 points.
