It's that time again. Time for the second-ever PubGuys Trivia League! The last installment of the league was a smashing success, and this time, we expect bigger and better things. We'll have more locations, more prizes, more qualified teams, and of course, we'll be giving away MORE MONEY!

The PubGuys Trivia League opened up September 1st at our newest trivia location, Hooligans in downtown Arlington. With the hype around our trivia league set, we could think of no better environment to kick off this historic journey. And, with multiple teams across our locations now hungry for the prize, it wasn't surprising to see a good crowd for the kickoff event.

In Game 1, TJ and Deez Nuts put up a brave fight on their first nights of trivia. However, it was the team of William Shatnerface that just edged out Solo Roberto, Kathleen, and Rachel for the top spot.

Next up was the Power Hour, where the questions would be a little bit tougher and the stakes much higher. We're Here for the Beer decided to join us for the fun, but appeared to have had too much fun before they arrived, as they struggled to put together a string of correct answers. Once again, Solo Roberto, Kathleen, and Rachel were toward the top of the leaderboard, but this time, it was Deez Nuts that snuck into the second place spot. That left one team alone at the top of the leaderboard, William Shatnerface. A sweep is certainly the best way to start league play, but don't get too cocky....That lead can vanish in a heartbeat.
