Last night Cowtown Brewing Co. had a special for our players as we all deal with the wonderful summer heat. Last night they took 15% off your tab if the temperature was over 100 when you opened it. This may have been a 1-time deal but make sure you follow PubGuys Trivia, The Angry Irishman and Cowtown Brewing Co. on Facebook for the latest deals!
Game 1:
You came out, you joined the crowd and we all won with some amazing beer and BBQ! 2 teams were winners too in both our games as they fought hard against a horde of other teams to take 1st or 2nd place!
2 rounds in and it was a great struggle to maintain first place. Team BM were sitting at the top with 12 points but No Folk and Chance were right behind at 11. 3 teams were sitting close enough to make a run at 1st and 2nd in round 3 as Hi Mom, DSPNT, and Famous Last Words were sitting at 8 points.
With our fun bonus questions over MIB, Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith, this was going to come down to the last question. Taking 8 points in round 3 and all 6 bonus questions, sitting at 25 and taking first, we had No Folk and Chance. We had 3 teams tied in 6th, 2 teams tied in for 4th and sitting alone in 3rd, just out of the money by 2 points we had Trivial Pursuits at 20 points. This left our new team, Team BM, sitting alone in 2nd place at 22 points.
It was a very close game and I know more of the same was to come in game 2.

Game 2:
We all filled our glasses and our bellies as the games continued! Team BM wanted to prove they were a new powerhouse and they started well with 12 points after 2 rounds. Pop a Molly I’m Sweatin were sitting pretty at 10 and No Folk and Chance and Peasant Workers were in the running at 8 points.
We had fun with some Twilight bonus questions in this game. Knowing your Twilight questions would prove critical in this game. Peasant Workers knew their stuff as they took all 6 bonus points but with a tough round 3, they closed out at 17 points in 3rd, tied with Pop a molly I’m sweatin. Another Round and Trivial Pursuits also knew their stuff but at 15 points, after a tough going in rounds 2 and 3, they were sitting tied for 5th at 15 points. With a 3-point edge over No Folk in Chance in round 2, Team BM started hot and finished with the same 3-point margin over No Folk and Chance to take 1st place. Well played Team BM!
