Game 1:
The storms cleared and the weather was amazing! We had 13 teams tonight and it was awesome! The food was hot, and the beer was cold, and the brain power was amazing!
Taking 12 points in the first 2 rounds, Hot Tequila was on their A game and there was no looking back as they took 1st place. However, it was not as smoot as they wished as The Usual Suspects, who started 4 points down after 2 rounds, surged in the final round but fell just short taking 2nd.
We had some new teams that came out tonight and it was a blast as they ALL got to make fun of The Angry Irishman as he tried to pronounce fun words like Sangiovese and Nebbiolo. It was an amazing atmosphere, and we all had a great time.
I quizzed my pants made a late come back too but ended in 3rd at 19 points. M, M & M were back this week and took 4th.

Game 2:
With 17 points after 2 rounds, The usual suspects took commanding lead and never looked back. Ending with 28 points they took 1st place in game 2. BK TEX MEX and Plays well with Udders were neck and neck the entire game and it lead to a tie for 2nd place. With 1 question, to break the tie, we knew who took 2nd place in game 2! We went with lost days in the Gregorian calendar. With a guess of 11 and a guess of 2, Play well with udder nailed it as the answer was 11!
I quizzed my pants had another great game but fell just short at 20 points, taking 4th. Newcomers M, M & M also did well and ended in 5th place with 18 points. Hot Tequila rested on their laurels from game 1 and ended in 6th place.

What a great ending to a fun night! It is always an exciting time during PubGuys Trivia at Cowtown Brewery Co. on Tuesday nights.
