Tonight, I would be testing the teams on all things Mardi Gras as we celebrated Fat Tuesday at Cowtown Brewing Co.!
Game 1:
It was a great gathering of teams on Fat Tuesday. We had the beer, we had the BBQ, I brought the beads, and the players brought the boo…King Cake! A shout out to Ain’t no place to pee for brining out some awesome Mardi Gras decorations, beads, hats and King Cake for all of the other teams to partake in! Mad Max, behind the bar and leader of the Peasant Workers was blessed with getting baby Jesus in his piece of cake! Now, who won the 1st game? Let’s see.
Ain’t No place to pee took a quick lead and after 2 rounds they saw themselves sitting with a 1-point lead over Got Here Late and Beer Pressure. Laissez les bon temps rouler, No Flux given, Tom Thumbians and Peasant Workers were within range to move up into the top 2 but it would be a fight.
Got Here Late thought they took 1st as they scored an awesome 8 points in round 3. Ain’t No place to pee had other thoughts though as with their 6 points and awesome 8 bonus points, they kept their lead and help off Got Here Late by 2 points to take 1st. Beer Pressure and Laissez les bon temps rouler tied for 3rd and No Flux Given, Peasant Workers and Tom Thumbians rounded out our top 5 teams, tying for 5th place.

Game 2:
Beer Pressure and Ain’t no room to pee were ready for game 2 and took a quick 12 points in the first 2 rounds. The Enders, Got Here Late, I quizzed my pants and Peasant Workers were in the mix and looking to take this dance to the very end!
1 round to go with 5 questions and 2 Mardi Gras bonus questions to go for the win. Peasant Workers, I quizzed my pants and Got Here late made a statement by taking 5 points in round 3 and clawing their way up the wall, but the top was still out of reach as they rounded out our top 5 teams. Beer Pressure was putting the pressure on Ain’t no room to pee and with their 7 points thought they snuck into 1st place. Unfortunately, knowing all things Mardi Gras, decked out in Purple, Gold and Green, Ain’t no room to pee took the W in game 2 for back-to-back wins for the night!
What a great game, what a great ending and what an amazing night!
