What a night! If you weren't there, you should have been. If you were there, then you are what made last night so amazing! Ready or not, here's the story of the night.

The time was 7:45 pm.  The place, World of Beer - SMU. The game, PubGuys Trivia. A few teams heeded our suggestion that they show up early, and register their team. Extra points are the reward for doing so. Soon after, the place packed out, and everyone was ready to play. Luckly so was I.

In Game One we started out by watching Anne Boleyn ride a dragon while wearing a monocle, and listening to Neil Diamond so she could just win one for the Gipper. Round Two left us swinging from the trees, and Round Three could only be installed by a professional. In the end Just Here for the Beer was also there for a $10 giftcard and a second place finish, while Guidonian Hands came on strong for a first place finish! I'd like to say on a personal note... I was very proud of myself for actually finishing a game with 10 minutes to spare in the allotted time.

After a short break and bringing in some new teams, it was time for the Hour of Power! The crowd was primed, and ready to go. I'm not sure if that was because of the fantastic beers or the awesome trivia, but whatever it was it was good! Round One let us watch while Princess Leia got married to Don Quixote on the Statue of Liberty while Bill Tilden enjoyed some rare cream cheese from Dantooine. In Round Two we took a tour of the great state of Texas. Round Three caused us to endure decades of suffrage, and we also learned who all will be attending our special StarWars trivia night on May 4th. After a really tough game Guidonian Hands were on Just the Tip for a tie breaker, with the Hands emerging the victor for the second time that evening.
