Well hello there Pub Guys Trivia players!  It's Maggie, your neighborhood Pub Gal.  This Wednesday I took over the hosting duties from Marc at World of Beer - SMU once again.  Don't worry, you'll get your precious Marc back soon.  He's just training our newest Pub Guy, Glenn over at World of Beer - Plano.  But while he's out being the Obi-Wan of Pub Guys Trivia, I get to call a great game of trivia with you.  I hope you've enjoyed having me along as a substitute.

So how did the games go?  Well, as usual, they were a lot of fun.  We had quite a few new teams join us for the first time as well as we had several of our regulars back vying for that top spot in the Pub Guys League competition.  In Game 1, we remembered "Fat Man" and "Little Boy" (the atomic bombs), admitted our obsession with candy, and then the Gumby reference happened.  Our regular teams battled it out for the top spot in this game, but Guidonian Hands secured the win via a tie breaker.  Game 2 proved to be a much more difficult game.  We were asked to pick the Harry Potter spell from a list of made up words, we learned that the song "Happy Birthday" is now worth $25,000 per use, and I stumbled my way through the pronounciation of the famed sculptor of Mount Rushmore (Gutzun Borglum).  This time one of our many new teams inched up into the top 5 of the leader board.  And 1st place was yet again decided by a tie breaker.  But this time Just the Tip snuck in from behind to secure the win.
