What do you get when you mix good friends, good laughs, great beer and great food in an atmosphere of friendly competition? You get PubGuys Trivia, that's what! Tonight's game had all of those elements and more! We had a fantastic crowd of returning teams, and some new teams that were really going to bring a challenge for everyone. 

In Round One of Game One Al Capone and his partner in crime, Bender Bending Rodriguez, caused the Hindenburg explosion by mixing protons, neutrons and electrons in a purely fictitious way. I began to notice that we were going to have one heck of a competition in this game while we were all having a BLOODY good time during Round Two. In Round Three Barbie had a slumber party with Anderson Cooper, Grant Hill, and Calvin Hill, while Meatloaf played love songs on his English horn. After all the questions for the game had been asked and the scores tallied, it was discovered that we had a tie for Second Place between College Bowl Dropouts, and Just the Tip. Being the best at taking a guess at how many tombs had been discovered in The Valley of the Kings as of 2013, Just the Tip managed to grab that $!0 gift card. In First Place with a $25 gift card, The Douchenators won with a strong finish!

After a brief break to gather our wits, it was time for the Hour of Power! In Round One Ernest Hemingway and Snuffy Smith played some cards on the Great Wall of...Thailand? In Round Two we all whipped 'em out and  MEASURED our brains. Round Three had Eleanor Roosevelt joining the band Human League to play the song I, Claudius at the world famous Pomegranate Fetlock Stadium. At the end of the game we had another tie! Now it was up to Guidonian Hands and College Bowl Dropouts to tell me how many bubbles are in a 750ml bottle of champagne. Well as it turns out, College Bowl Dropouts saw more bubbles in the bottle, and managed to grab First. Guidonian Hands grabbed Second despite the fact that their team captain was not present.  ;)
