So what do you do when all of your devices, that would be good to help you write and submit a write-up, go on the fritz? Well you submit it several days late. So here it is. =)

 

This past Wednesday was a really crazy, but fun experience. With the fast approaching start of PubGuys Trivia at WOB-Plano, myself and our newest PubGuy, Glenn, met up to go over everything needed to host this event. At WOB-SMU, Maggie was holding the fort down, and making sure our players had a great time. As part of the prep for Plano, Glenn and I, once finished in Plano, hussled down to SMU. And that's what this is all about, so here we go!

 

Game One, hosted by the fabulious Maggie, was off to great start! In Round One we watched D'artagnan compete in a decathlon against a chupacabra in the shadow of Mount Vesuvious, with the winner being named the Top Gun. In Round Two we all enjoyed beer and BREAKFAST. Round Three had us playing Mah Jong in Honolulu while enjoying some Naan and Chapati, and admiring a beautiful Beatles sculpture. Your winners for the game were two teams we've come to know quite well. Guidonian Hands took it away with First, and Kinematic Allstars grabbed Second. 

 

With the Hour of Power approaching it was my turn to jump on the mic. In Round One Li'l Wayne gave his version of the Gettysburg address in Klingon, while Jim Thorpe gave up his two gold medals for a bouquet of Saguaro Cactus Blossoms. (just go with it). In Round Two we all felt an overwhelming need to Go WEST. Round Three of the Hour of Power had a special treat with Glenn taking the mic to finish up the night, and he brought it home in fine fassion. Your winners for the game were Just the Tip giving it to us for First Place, and Guidonian Hands rocking that Second Place.

One last thing... PubGuys Trivia at WOB-Plano kicks off this Wednesday night! The game starts at 8pm and will be hosted by PGGlenn. Choose whichever location you'd like, just make sure you come play!
