Summer is full swing here in Plano, and the PubGuys are here to help you make the most of your time off from work or school. After WoB Plano’s grand opening last weekend, we got to enjoy some new taps and some fresh trivia as well.

This week was a week of ties and tie breakers. Both games had teams tied for 2nd place. After a lesson learned from last week’s three-way tie, I remembered to use the “whoever gets closest to the answer” as the deciding condition, rather than waiting for someone to hit the nail on the head. This greatly speeds up the results, and gets players back in the game that much sooner.

Big winners this week were the returning vets of the Mudda Fargin’ Iceholes, with two 1st place wins. The big patio team, Pinehurst Dude, won our first tie-breaker for 2nd place in the first game, and the enigmatic Ask Siri 0 ÷ 0 (just begging to cause some space-time anomaly, don'cha think?!) pulled out the 2nd place spot in game 2.
