Plano Rocks! That is all!
Okay, I suppose I should say a little more about last night's game than that. It was an interesting night for PubGuys Trivia in DFW. Both the Fort Worth and Arlington locations had cancelled trivia due to Game Seven for the Stars being on at the same time, leaving Plano the only PGTrivia game of the night. Last night also saw the return of a team that we hadn't seen since the shutdown of WOB-SMU, which I was pleasantly surprised by! We even had a special night with some really good Revolver Brewing offerings, and the lovely Sybil was there from the brewery to answer all of our questions about those brews.
Given the fact that the Stars game was on during Game One of the night, I knew it might be a bit on the noisy side. Yup, I was right, but the teams just listened a little closer, and it seemed this would go smoothly. The questions ranged from super easy warm-ups to brain busting difficult ones. Some of the teams we see leading the pack all night found themselves in the middle of the pack, and were very congratulatory towards the winning teams. By the end of Game One however, some would climb back up to claim those prizes. It would be Mudda Farg'n Ice Holes claiming First, while I'm Right, You're Wrong grabbed Second. Game Two would be almost the same with the Ice Holes doing again for First, and new team, Party Pants, partied their way into Second!
I'm going to take a moment again to stress how beneficial it is for you to not only read this write-up, but also follow along on social media to keep up with all the news you need for the games. Not to mention those extra point chances offered during the week. It really can be the difference between winning and losing! For your extra write-up point next week, tell me about your favorite brewery to visit/tour, and why it stands out above the rest.
