When you play PubGuys Trivia there are some rules that we ask our players to adhere to. Some of those rules cover final answers, another deals with no cheating, but for the most part those rules are there to help everyone have fun. As it turns out, "have fun" is what our very first rule actually says. The crowd Wednesday night took that rule very seriously.
The night started off with a full bar during World of Beer-Plano's Happy Hour. As game time approached a portion of that crowd started to make their way home. As that happened, the trivia crowd started to role in. Thanks BTW to all of you loyal teams for coming out week to week. You guys are awesome! Anyway... the game. The crowd that remained, while not huge, was a great one to host. What makes y'all so great? Your energy, your humor, your knowledge, and the fact that you actuall thought I was funny! ;) Everyone was noisy when appropriate, and quiet when the game called for it. Several of you welcomed me to your tables for chats, or came to me for a chat, making my evening a lot of fun. (Rule One) From the energy y'all put out, I would guess that you were having fun too. (Rule One) I like how that works out.
I must say that I was impressed with everyone's wealth of knowledge throughout the night! That knowlege helped Habitat for Huge Manatees grab impressive First Place wins on both games. I'm Right, You're Wrong pleasently surprised themselves by winning Second in Game One. Brad's Pitts managed not to stink it up, and won Second in Game Two.
Don't forget that next Wednesday the 9th is a very special Game of Thrones themed night. It might be to your best interest to bone up on your GoT knowledge this weekend, and then come to the game well armed with not only your intellect, but a bad ass costume if you so desire. I'll be in mine... Also come tell me who your favorite Game of Thrones character is, living or dead, and I'll give your team an extra point before the game even starts.
