It's always so nice to arrive for trivia, and receive very good news right away. Like knowing that there is real interest in the game by just week two, or knowing that the prizes are getting bigger! Well thats what I learned last night, so right off the bat things were looking good for the night. Then follow that up by seeing new teams, and teams I hadn't seen in awhile made things even better!
Let's get into the game, shall we? In Round One ABBA traveled to ancient Rome to teach some Dirty Dancing to Louis Winthorpe III and Billy Ray Valentine. Round Two had us dealing with some low down dirty rats that came Back to the Future to infiltrate the Rat Pack. Finally in Round Three we learned that George H W Bush and Ronald Reagan had what this PubGuy would describe as an interesting working relationship... Just say'n. In the end, returning team Mudda Fargin Ice Holes grabbed that first place prize, and I'm Big in 1/4'' Scale grabbed second.
Next up was the Hour of Power, or as half my teams last night called it, bedtime. That's cool though. I got to host the die hard players. In Round One Cujo sent the Power Puff Girls to the ER, where they were given a healthy dose of Quarks and Chemical X to get them back on their feet. I had to "Hand" it to the teams for their performances during Round Two. It was impressive! Finally it was time for the final round. The teams were neck and neck until I asked about where the "Good Ol Boys" played. That seperated the places, and here is how they ended up. Once again Mudda Fargin Ice Holes managed to grab first, and another team I hadn't seen in awhile, Pack of Four, finished with second.
