Another much anticipated Wednesday night, and another fantastic evening of PubGuys Trivia at World of Beer-Plano! I made a comment at the beginnning of the night that judging from the teams I saw,  this night was going to be a close one, and it turns out I was right!  More on that in a moment...

Game One:

In Round One we listened to some wonderful Tchaikovsky while enjoying some Bacardi Rum 3.14 with the king of The Wild Things, James Bond. During Round Two we saw which of our teams were the biggest BIRD brains. Finally in Round Three we saw Muhammad Ali fight the Ringling Brothers in the "July 4th Battle Royal," while Peter Parker and Andrew Jackson watched on from The Daily Bugle's train. In the end my prediction came true as the three teams in question, I'm Big in 1/4 Inch Scale, Just the Tip, and Mudda Fargin Ice Holes,  ended up in a tie. "How many islands does Canada have?" was the question that would seperate these fantastic teams. Mudda Fargin Ice Holes would emerge victorioius with the closest correct answer followed by I'm Big in 1/4 Inch Scale for second. 

Game Two:

In Round One of The Hour of Power the Buddha and Pope John Paul II were investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission for an illegal investment in medical texts books out of Bangkok. In Round Two our teams were able to get EVEN with the theme of the round, and in Round Three we learned that bisexual flowers are indeed "perfect flowers." We also enjoyed an amazing opera from Don Drysdale's rag time opera group, featuring the partners of Dewy, Cheetham and Howe in the lead roles. This time the winners were a little more clearly shown. It would be I'm Big in 1/4 Inch Scale that would take First, and brand new team, Iluinaughty, took Second.

To end the evening, as I said my customary closing line, "cheers bitches," a flash of lightning lit the night sky, and made me feel as though the sky was approving of the games we had just played. Thunderous applause? Hail of a good time? Yeah, I could go on... Lets just say it was a cool way to end the evening.
