Hello everyone, and welcome to another fun packed write-up! This weeks game was one of those laid back, fun evenings of trivia. It's always fun to walk into a place that seems slow, knowing that there are already 4 teams signed up for the game, with more to arrive be added shortly. Such was the case this week. We even had some teams that didn't know they'd be playing, but got taken in by the fun we were about to have. Speaking of that fun, here we go.
In Round One of Game One Harry Callahan and Andrew Johnson put on a free concert with the School House Rock gang at the Battlestar Apollo theater in the Beaver State. Round Two was a lactatious good time that I felt was milked just a little to much. Finally in Round Three former president, Fulgencio Batista traveled to Scotland to celebrate Hogmanay with Joe Theismann, while Lawrence Taylor and some other guy that no one mentioned went to school to study Theatrical Physics. At the end of the game the Mudda Farg'n Ice Holes would once again take first place, and the awesome ladies of Plowing the North Forty grabbed second!
On to the Hour of Power... Round One seemed to be a very musical round with questions about yodeling, the opera, and Lidas. Sprinkle in a little math and golf, and you have a well rounded round. Round Two was chock full of Scandinavian fun, whatever that means. During Round Three Joan Collins and Macaulay Culikin hosted the US Navy Special Operations Awards, and let us all know who wore their Dress Whites the best. The final trivia awards of the night would go to team Boons for a fine Second Place finish, while Mudda Farg'n Ice Holes would take home top honors!
