Hey Hey Hey! What's up everybody? I'm glad you are taking the time to enjoy my little story about our trivia game at World of Beer-Plano! If you were there, you know how much of an interesting and fun night we had. If not, I'll tell ya all about it. I was happy to see that all of the holiday stuff was over, and we had our normal Wednesday night crowd again. I missed most of you! HaHa! Looking around the room let me know that the competition was going to be fierce. With some great teams throughout, and three of them sitting right next to each other, we were in for an intense evening!
Game One started with a bit of a battery problem that was quickly resolved, and we were ready to get dirty. In Round One Dorothy scored her 37th knockout when she fought the whole Dire Straits band in The Republic of China's Conus Medullaris Colosseum in front of a crowd of 1,000,000 milligrams. Round Two had a theme that everyone would rather just forget, and in Round Three Olive Oyl had all the guys wishing to join her on Venus, but she only had eyes for the Martian, Popeye Graham Bell. After another battery change, and some tough rounds, we had our winners. With only one point seperating them, Mudda Farg'n Iceholes took First, followed closely by Iluminaughty in Second.
After a brief breather we were ready for a hard and fast Hour of Power. In Round One an army of Virgo Vampires invaded the University of Connecticut riding on their red ponies, but the students rallied, stakes in hand, and won the day! During Round Two we all got to enjoy some of our favorite cartoons. =) Round Three started off with another dead battery, and no replacements in site. I guess I'll do some yelling... Luckily, the awesome staff at World of Beer made a mad dash to find one, and got me back on the mic quickly! During the round Goober Pyle became the hero of the Battle of Balaklava by rescuing the the world's supply of bacon from the evil hands of The Midnight Cowboy. Another close game, and another win for Mudda Farg'n Iceholes, with another close Second for Iluminaughty!
