I've had a busy week hosting trivia all over Arlington this week with PubGuys Trivia! We wrapped up this week at Chuggin' Monk with 4 teams, and almost 15 players! Earlier this week I was at Element Cocktail Lounge (7-to-9 Tuesdays) and Division Brewing, covering for the regular host at the latter location. Every night was a blast, and tonight was no different! YOU (yes, YOU!) missed out on another night of FREE trivia, Terrible Jokes, and frosty drinks, and you also missed out on seeing one of the best hosts in town! It's never too late to join us next week at Element Cocktail Lounge and Chuggin' Monk, here's what you missed:
Game Summary
For the 2nd week in a row we saw the return of Hoe Throat at Chuggin' Monk, and they were finally able to face off against one of my old teams from False Idol, 52 Bomboclat Puswagon Chicken Nuggets. In the beginning of the game the score were fairly stagnant, with no team getting too far ahead of another. Round 5, however, bamboozled almost every team, shaking up the standings greatly. Although Dude Abides, and 52 Bomboclat Puswagon Chicken Nuggets tried their best, they were unable to defeat the lead that Mike Hawke (w/ an E) gained during that tumultuous Round 5. In the end Mike Hawke (w/ an E) took 1st place, with Hoe Throat in a close 2nd. Here's one, of many, that everyone missed:
One team was upset because they had the correct answer, but scratched it out! Fortunately for them, nobody else got it right, either:
