The World Cup is in full gear here in Arlington, TX with PubGuys Trivia at Chuggin' Monk! That doesn't stop us from playing FREE trivia from 7:30 to 9:30 every Thursday, rain or shine! I will say that tonight the bar was slightly more full than usual, so we had a lot of spectators, but you know what was missing most? YOU! Game Summary
Once again we had nearly 20 players this week flexing their brain muscles again, and having a great time while doing it! Amongst the teams we had Heated Trivialry, and newcomers No Gag Reflex, taking on regulars Mike Hawke (w/ an E) and Black & Tan. We had Hoe Throat join us in Round 3, but they were unable to overcome the lead Mike Hawke (w/ an E) and Black & Tan had before they arrived. Although it was their first time at trivia night, No Gag Reflex put up a valiant effort for 2nd place, but unfortunately fell short. In the end Mike Hawke (w/ an E) had a commanding lead at the end, and Black & Tan, for the first time, came in 2nd over Dude Abides.
We had some big brains in the room, but there was still one question that almost everyone missed:
Leonard Bernstein and Tchaikovsky were among the answers, but there was only one team that got it right:
