We just ended ANOTHER fantastic night at Chuggin' Monk with PubGuys trivia! This week we had 20 players, all spread out through 8 teams. They were all playing, FOR FREE, for a chance to win a $25 (1st place) or $10 (2nd place) gift card to Chuggin' Monk! As you likely know, this happens EVERY week from 7:30 to 9:30, so come on out next week and join us if you couldn't make it this time. Don't forget: this is the BEST trivia in TOWN, and you don't want to miss it! Here's what happened:
Game Summary
One of our regular teams, Mike Hawke (w/ an E), was celebrating a birthday this week, so they had an extra =-large team! So much so, they had to split into TWO teams, with the 2nd team, New Host, ultimately landing in the top 5 teams. Taking a commanding lead by the 4th round we also had Dude Abides, playing solo, mopping up all the competition. Hoe Throat joined the gam during Round 2 but, if they had arrived at the beginning of the game, they would have given Dude Abides a real challenge. T&A were also back this week, and ended up taking 3rd place which, unfortunately, has no prize. In the end Dude Abide and Mike Hawke took 1st and 2nd, respectively, but there was still one that almost everyone missed:
