We had a surprising amount of players tonight at Chuggin' Monk with PubGuys Trivia! You could have been one of the twenty-five players, and you would have had a chance to win a $25 (1st place) or $10 (2nd place) gift card to Chuggin' Monk! If you did make it tonight, you were able to experience the best trivia in town, with the best jokes in town, too! Each night I break up the game with my patented (not really) Terrible Jokes of the Evening. By the end of the night, if you haven't groaned, I haven't done my job. What happened tonight? Well, you won't get one of my jokes, but here you go:
Game Summary
We saw the return of Cast & Crew and Heated Trivialry in tonight's game, as well as Black & Tan and Cul De Slackers. Regulars Mike Hawke (w/ an E) and Dude Abides joined the fray as well, and an old team from when I was at False Idol Brewing (3 years ago!) came out under The Other 51! The whole game was a battle, with Mike Hawke (w/ an E) holding a LARGE lead going into Round 5. Heated Trivialry, with only two players instead of their regular six, and Dude Abides were not going down without a fight. After missing a few questions towards the end of the game, Mike Hawke (w/ an E) ended up losing their 1st place spot to Dude Abides! Shout-out to Heated Trivialry for fighting back and ALMOST tying 2nd place! Here's a question that everyone missed:
