In what could be a possible record this summer, this week we had almost 30 people at Chuggin' Monk with PubGuys Trivia! That means we had over 25 bodies flexing their brain muscles, eating good food, and perhaps even having a few beers, too! IF you weren't there, you missed out on FREE trivia from 7:30 to 9:30! Every week we have as great time, with or without you, but I'd always prefer if you joined us. Come back here every week for a rundown of what happens, just like this:

Game Summary

Fortunately, for them, Mike Hawke (w/ an E) was back at full power, with all of their teammates on board. This certainly helped them against the tide of local challengers, and the daytime bartender's team, Soup Can. It was a tough battle for 1st and 2nd place, while returning regulars Heated Trivialry and Dude Abides duked it out for 3rd. Special shoutout to Furloughed, who brought out a team of 6 players, and Buzzed & Brilliant, who were doing GREAT until having to leave after Round 4. 

In the end, Soup Can, gave Mike Hawke (w/ an E) a HUGE challenge for 1st place, and landed only 3 points behind them. A single bonus question could have pushed them to a tie-breaker but, alas, Mike Hawke (w/ an E) came out on top. Here's a question everyone missed:

• What nickname was given to the group of protesters accused of inciting a riot at the 1968 Democratic National Convention?

Yuppies, Hippies, Flower Children, and Quiet Riot were all answers I received, but they were all wrong. The correct answer was:

• The Chicago 7
