Game Summary
This week we were just under 20 players going at it, with regulars Dude Abides and Mike Hawke (w/ an E) coming back for another week of testing their trivia mettle. We also saw Rose back for the first time in a few months, and we also had Bathing Apes, previously playing as The Atlanta Hawkeyes, returning to give everyone a challenge. Out of nowhere came the new group, Callin' Card, who also, for their first time out, really put up a valiant effort! This game was extremely interesting because by the end of Rounds 2 and 4 we had a tie for 1st and 2nd, with the same teams in the same positions each time!
In the end it was almost as if Mike Hawke (w/ an E) and Bathing Apes were fighting for 1st place, and Callin' Card and Dude Abides were fighting for 2nd place. Ultimately, though, Mike Hawke (w/ an E) ended up taking the lead over Bathing Apes, netting themselves the $25 gift card for 1st place., and pushing the latter team into 2nd. Here's a question almost everyone missed:
