…all the same and all last night!
We welcomed CBC Southlake Tap Room to our awesome PubGuys Trivia family. A sister site to Cowtown Brewing Co, located in Southlake near Southlake Town Square. Come shop, or dine, and then stop by for some amazing beer, food and of course PubGuys trivia!
Game 1:
Last night, for our inaugural night of Trivia we welcomed Billy Bad Teams, Smiley, Alessandra, G-Vine Kids Table and Spooning Leads to Forking. We had some general knowledge trivia this night and it did not disappoint. Smiley and Alessandra came to play both scoring 7 points in round 1. Round 2 we saw a flip in leaders as Bill Bad Teams scored an amazing 8 points to take the lead and not look back. Smiley made a valiant effort to catch them in round 3 but fell short by 3 points. Congrats to the winners of the first ever game at CBC Southlake Tap Room – Bill Bad Teams!
Game 2:
From Rudolph the Red Nosed reindeer to Thurman Merman’s T-shirt, this game had it all! We all knew that the elf Hermey would rather be a dentist but who all knew that the Abominable snow man was nicknamed Bumble? Good Santa or bad Santa? Does it matter because we all know “Sh!t happens when you party naked”. Well, according to Thurman Merman that is true. But enough of this Sh…stuff. Let us see who won Game 2!
Round 1 went to the heavy weights and Trivia heads Spooning Leads to Forking with an amazing 8 points in round 1. However, G-Vine Kids Table and Billy Bad Teams were not far behind. With only 5 points separating 1st from 3rd, going into round 3, it was still anyone’s game! Round 3 proved to be a tough round as Billy Bad Teams were the only one to score normal points! However, the G-Vine Kids Table scored an amazing 7 bonus points to take over Spooning Leads to Forking and getting 2nd place over all!
Thanks to Scott for taking care of the CBC Southlake Tap Room guests and keeping our beers cold and the food hot. Just remember to bribe the Brain behind the bar for answers. Ok just kidding as that would be cheating but he does know a ton of stuff!
