A small, intimate night of Trivia. We played a winner takes all if you could beat the bar staff. What a game it was, as everything was at stake.
With a strong showing in Rounds 1-3, Dimestore Drinkers and Alpha Kenny 1 took a large 6- and 7-point lead over Friends of Snap and a commanding lead over Spooning Leads to Forking. Since it was a smaller game, I added a little suspense going to the game. There was no scoring update until we began round 6. It was a lot of fun not letting the teams know where they stood until the final round. Rounds 4 and 5 we saw Friends of Snap start to climb back into the game and going into the final round they were only 6 points out of first. Dimestore Drinkers maintained their lead in first and Alpha Kenny 1 were only 3 points behind the leaders. It all came down to the final round. Friends of Snap scored an amazing 6 points in the final round while Alpha Kenny 1 only netted 3, thus pushing them down into 3rd place. With those amazing 6 points they were tied with Dimestore Drinkers! However, with a round low 1 point, Dimestore Drinkers held them off winning the game by 1 point. It was a fun game and congratulations to our winners!
