So said Alfred Hitchcock, which by the way, happened to star in 30 Hitchcock movies. Who knew! Well apparently, the trivia heads at CBC Southlake Tap Room. Well done all!
We had a surprise guest team this week as Hot Tequila, regulars at Cowtown Brewing Co. in Fort Worth, popped in for a visit and a game of Trivia. We welcomed back And in last place, Spooning Leads to Forking and Billy Bad Answers. We welcomed in 2 new teams this week as Group Effort and Martins stayed and enjoyed the game and fought hard for the prize!
We changed our format up and went to a single game with 6 rounds with prizes for 1st and 2nd place. And what a difference it makes when you have 6 rounds vs. 3. Midway through we had a tight race between Hot Tequila, Group Effort and And in Last Place. With only 4 points separating 3rd from 1st and half a game left, it was up for grabs! We found out why Hot Tequila is a heavy weight trivia team and took a commanding lead and win in the final round. Round 6 was a tough round with most teams only scoring a SINGLE point. Congrats to And in Last Place for taking second place, proving they are a worthy opponent and why they won back-to-back games last week!
I cannot wait to see what next week holds as our trivia family at CBC Southlake Tap Room keeps growing. A huge thank you to the CBC crew as they make my life easier by pouring cold beers and serving hot food!
