…or Vexillology. This time hosted by The Angry Irishman and not Sheldon Cooper. From Happy Gilmore to the Blue Saltire, we all had fun at CBC Southlake Taproom.
We welcomed in several new teams this week. Slash’s Autograph found their way in and were excited to see Trivia is back at this location, which they used to play at when it was a different venue. They will spread the word to the other teams so they know as well! We also welcomed in the Ya’ll Ternatives, Joe Boy, Smelly Shelly’s, and Rocky Mountain Ski Circus. We also had our regulars with And in last place and Spooning Leads to Forking join in.
Halfway through the game we had a tight competition with the leaders, Slash’s Autograph, sitting at 16 points. However, they had a small lead over Dimestore Drinkers and The Ya’ll Ternatives, both sitting at 13 points. Round 4 was a game changer as we saw the leaders score a perfect 8 points. Who knew that Slash’s Autograph new the name of Britney Spears’ first perfume fragrance? How Curious!
While Dimestore Drinkers and Rocky Mountain Ski Resort made a valiant effort to come back, they fell short in the final 2 rounds. With an amazing 35 points, newcomers Slash’s Autograph took the win. With a 5 point round 6, Dimestore Drinkers, enhanced their lead to take 2nd place.
The CBC Taproom staff served up cold beer and hot food for all the patrons. It was a great night of PubGuys Trivia, and we keep growing our Trivia family every week. Come join in the fun every Monday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
