A great night for Trivia at CBC Southlake Tap Room! We welcomed back Dimestore Drinkers, And in Last Place, and other regular teams. We had 7 amazing teams fighting for First and Second place.
Round 1 we saw 3 teams, including our new team, we’re just guessing, net a quick 5 points. Round 2 we saw And in Last Place grab a quick lead with 7 amazing points. This game was back and forth all night. Round 4 was a game changer as Dimestore Drinkers took a more commanding lead over And in Last Place, Cowtown Cowpies and Friends of Snap. Rounds 5 and 6 were game changers and for 2 teams, game winners. And in Last place took a stumble in round 5, leaving the door open for Cowtown Cowpies. Friends of Snap had a rough round 5 and 6 only netting 5 total points between the 2 rounds. However, they were still holding fast to a 2-point lead over And in Last Place. Then there was round 6…Dimestore Drinkers maintained their average points per round getting 32 total points. Friends of Snap left the door open and And in last place and Cowtown Cowpies took advantage. With an amazing finish, we had our winners. Cowtown Cowpies, the bar staff, could not take 2nd place so it defaulted to And in Last Place. It was a great night and great game!
