…and Pourin. I know they’re all thinking I’m so damn thirsty! Ok, so much for bad Lyrics but what an amazing night of Trivia at CBC Southlake Tap Room. For the record, with the awesome beers and amazing service – nobody was thirsty!
We welcomed back Bill Bad Answers and Servin and Pourin. We welcomed newcomers to the PG Trivia family: Drinkers, Bitches be shoppin, Crowley Perez and Fry’s.
Game 1:
It was a quick start for Bitches be Shoppin, who started out of the gate with a whopping 6 points. However, Servin and Pourin and Billy Bad Answers (yes, I typed in the wrong name) were nipping at their heels with 4 points. Round 2 we saw a dramatic flip in scores as Fry’s fried the competition and put up 6 points to take the lead. Sadly, Bitches be shoppin had to hit other stores and only scored 1 point in round 2. Billy Bad Answers were fighting hard to get good answers and were only 1 point behind the leaders going into the final round. Unfortunately, they lived up to their name in round 3 and only received 3 points. Servin and Pourin did their best to overtake Fry’s but fell a little short (as they were distracted with good drinks and good food) and took second place. It was a great, competitive game. How would game 2 go?
Game 2:
A little bit of the same, a little bit of some new. We welcomed in Peanutz to game 2 and boy, they went nutz. Billy Bad Answers and Servin and Pourin came out fast with 5 and 6 points. But Peanutz took round 2 and a 1-point lead going into the final round. Crowley Perez made a valiant effort to come back but fell 1 point shy of 2nd place. Congrats to Servin and Pourin on holding on and taking the win by 1 point.
If you have not made it out to CBC Southlake Tap Room yet, I highly recommend it! It is a great venue; the beer is amazing, and the food is hot and tasty. The staff takes amazing care of you and there are prizes to be won! Come see me every Monday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
