What in the world does Dushi mean?  Just ask our new team, Feeling Dushi!  For the record, in Curacao it means sweet, nice or good.  But how it sounded when reading their team name.

From the Houston Astros to the Latin Invasion, we had it all tonight.  Six amazing rounds of PubGuys Trivia at the CBC Southlake Tap Room! 

We had our several of our regulars, Okapi, Friends of Snap and TexCub come out tonight.  Then we had an amazing turnout of new teams: Feeling Dushi, Semen Possible, K-2, Monday Mamas, Bonnettes, 7^th or Bust and She Wears the Pants.  11 Amazing teams fighting for 1^st and 2^nd place.

2 Rounds in we see why Okapi ends in the top 2 consistently.  With an amazing 13 points in the first 2 rounds, they had a quick 3-point lead over newcomers Semen Possible and our other regulars Friends of Snap.  TexCub and Feeling Dushi were not far behind, in 3^rd place. 

She wears the pants had a great round 3 and pushed past TexCub to take 3^rd place, could they maintain the momentum?  Semen Possible were giving Okapi a run for their money and gained a point on them going into round 5.  Would they find a way to surpass Okapi and take their first Win at CBC Southlake Tap Room?  Sadly, it was not to be. Round 5, Semen Possible, made the round seem impossible as they only received 2 points, allowing Okapi to take a larger lead, as they received 7 points.  While TexCub took a stumble in round 4, they showed why they are a team to be reckoned with in rounds 5 and 6 as they found a way to catchup and pass Friends of Snap and take 3^rd place.

Our new teams found their stride and made this a close game throughout the night.  Feeling Dushi, She Wears the Pants, Bonnettes and 7^th or Bust all had a great night and you can tell they will be contending for a winning spot next week.

A huge shoutout to the CBC Southlake Tap Room Staff for taking care of all the trivia heads.  Thank you, Aaron, Layla, and Dakota!  You make my job a lot easier!

As a note, you will not see the Angry Irishman on July 4^th.  However, have no fear as you are in the most capable hands of Dan!  He is a great host and is looking forward to seeing you all!
