It's always good to host at Jeckylls - the first place I ever played pub trivia. Yes, I occasionally play there, but it is not often that I get to visit the place where it all started about seven years ago. That's where I met Stephen and Lara, Joey Frazier, John Valentine, Total Recall, etc.

I was surprised to see so many teams came out to play. Not many chairs were empty. In all, we had nine teams from the beginning and eight teams finished. I was also amazed at how close the race was all night. There were at least 5-6 teams within a few points of the lead the entire evening. This made for a great night as every team was in it.

The D-bags came out fast and held the lead through four rounds. Not bad for a team of two. Inappropriately Confident (the team I usually play with) was down to three players and did a nice job of hanging around until the end. But Team Name TBD finally seized the lead in round 5 and held on for a three point win at the end.

I apologize for the late finish - it was after 9:30 when we ended. I guess I was enjoying myself so much I sort of lost track of time and played the songs a little too long. Great set up - I had a cozy chair for the evening and cold refreshments. I'll try to be better about staying on time next time.
