...2 fun filled hours of Trivia!

Game 1:
Our Keyworth Trivia family continues to grow each week and the competition is amazing! This host was very happy to see 2 teams show up that he has not seen in a long time. Okapi and Dimestore Drinkers were in the house tonight to see how they fared against Keyworth Brew, The Cheer Moms and Bochy Ballers.
2 rounds in and we had Bochy Ballers in the lead by 1 point over Shake & Bake, The Hillbillies and Okapi. Beer is life was back too and they were just 2 points out of 2nd place along with Dimestore Drinkers. However, we all know round 3 is a make or break round and would all these teams maintain their scores or would we see a curly shuffle at the top.
With 6 points each, we saw Shake & Bake and Bochy Ballers tie the round, but it was not enough for Shake & Bake to take the lead and they took 2nd place at the checkered flag. Beer is Life also took 6 points but with a tough round 1, they ended in 5th. Dimestore Drinkers started strong but after round 3 saw themselves fall into 6th place. Okapi and The Hillbillies had a good game as well, but they ended in 3rd and 4th place.

Game 2:
What would we see in game 2? A repeat by Bochy Ballers or would someone else find their way to the top? After 2 rounds, I knew this game would hold a surprise for me and it did not disappoint. Okapi found their stripes and were sitting at the top, by 1 point, over Bochy Ballers. Shake & Bake and Dimestore Drinkers were weaving in and out of traffic to find a passing lane to take the lead.
One more lap to go and the track was fast. Thanks to an 8 point round 2 and 3 bonus points, we saw Okapi take the W leaving Bochy Ballers and Shake & Bake in their dust. Dimestore Drinkers had another strong game but found themselves just short of 2nd place, sitting at 18 points. Beer is Life and Keyworth Brew rounded out our top 5. Now what about second place? Well, we had a TIE! Shake & Bake and Bochy Ballers were knotted at 20 points. You all know how this goes. 1 question, 1 sacrificial lamb 10 seconds to take 2nd place. They lambs were in place; the question was read, and the clock started…at the final buzzer – we had our 2nd place team.
What a great night and if you have not made it out on a Thursday night yet, you need to. This is a great brewery; the teams are amazing, and the Trivia is a blast!
