Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was another jam-packed evening of PubGuys Trivia, cold beer, and Smokin Jays BBQ Tacos fueling the brainpower. The brewery was buzzing, with the Thursday Night NFL game on the big screens and teams battling it out across two full games of trivia. The competition was fierce, the laughs were loud, and the prizes were well-earned!
Game 1 kicked off with a hot start as The Cliff Clavens, Killer Rabbits, and Beer Pressure all put up strong Round 1 scores. By Round 2, The Cliff Clavens had begun to pull ahead with sharp recall and quick thinking, while Killer Rabbits kept the pressure on just two points behind. Several teams, including The Winkles and Don, Doc and Divas, kept themselves within striking distance with clutch bonus answers.
After Round 2, it looked like anyone’s game at the top—but Round 3 sealed the deal. The Cliff Clavens closed strong with 21 total points to take 1st place and a $25 gift card. Killer Rabbits stayed steady and secured 2nd place with 19 points for the $15 gift card. The real drama came for 3rd place, where The Winkles and Beer Pressure ended tied at 15 points. With bragging rights on the line, a sudden-death tiebreaker was called! One representative from each team had just 10 seconds to hand in their answer. After the dust settled, The Winkles claimed 3rd place and bragging rights for the night.

With tacos refreshed and beers topped off, the crowd jumped right back in for Game 2. Early on, Killer Rabbits showed they weren’t leaving empty-handed, jumping out with strong back-to-back rounds. By Round 2, they had already opened up a 3-point lead over The Cliff Clavens, who themselves were holding off a tight chase pack of Don, Doc and Divas, Beer Pressure, and The Kiwis.
Round 3 brought the tension—Beer Pressure and The Kiwis both made surges thanks to bonus points, while The Cliff Clavens dug in to stay near the top. But in the end, Killer Rabbits powered through, finishing with 17 total points and taking the 1st place prize of $25. The Cliff Clavens earned 2nd place with 14 points, collecting the $15 gift card. The real drama was in the battle for 3rd, where Don, Doc and Divas, Beer Pressure, and The Kiwis all finished tied at 13 points! Another sudden-death tiebreaker decided it, and Don, Doc and Divas secured 3rd place bragging rights.
