Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was another absolute classic as PubGuys Trivia brought the heat to a packed brewery filled with sharp minds, cold pints, and nonstop laughs. Two games, three rounds each, random bonus questions throughout the night, and enough lead changes to keep everyone glued to the scoreboard until the very end. The crowd was incredible, the atmosphere was electric, and the competition was fierce from start to finish.
Game 1 opened with Cap & Hare coming out strong right away, posting 7 points in Round 1 to claim the early lead. Sponge Bob stayed close with 6, while Toilet Baby and Prancing Pony each kept themselves in the hunt with solid opening rounds.
Then came Round 2 — and the leaderboard got shaken up.
Something Random exploded with a huge 9-point round, the highest score of the game to that point, climbing rapidly into contention. Beer is Life also made a strong move with 7 points in the second round. Despite the pressure, Cap & Hare stayed remarkably steady, adding another 6 points and keeping their lead intact heading into the final round with 13 total points.
But Round 3 sealed the deal.
Cap & Hare delivered another powerful finish with 8 points plus bonus points, locking in a commanding 24-point victory. ZZ Top surged late with a strong 7-point final round to secure second place outright, while Sponge Bob, Beer is Life, and Something Random all finished tied for third at 15 points each.

1st – Cap & Hare – 24
2nd – ZZ Top – 18
T-3rd – Sponge Bob – 15
T-3rd – Beer is Life – 15
T-3rd – Something Random – 15
Cap & Hare controlled the game after Round 2 and never gave anyone an opening.
If Game 1 belonged to Cap & Hare, Game 2 belonged to the comeback kings.
Round 1 saw Cap & Hare and Prancing Pony jump out to early leads with 7 points each, while Something Random and ZZ Top stayed close behind. At that point, it looked like Cap & Hare might be headed for a clean sweep on the night.
Then Round 2 happened.
Red Card Rebels stormed onto the scene with an explosive 9-point round, catapulting themselves into first place contention. Cap & Hare stayed consistent again with 6 points, but suddenly the margin was razor thin. Heading into Round 3, Red Card Rebels had all the momentum while Cap & Hare still held a narrow edge overall.
The final round delivered fireworks.
Red Card Rebels absolutely erupted for an incredible 11-point Round 3, the highest single-round score of the night, plus a bonus point to finish at 26. Cap & Hare matched the intensity with their own massive 11-point final round but fell just one point short at 25. Prancing Pony held steady to secure third place with 17.
No tie-breaker was needed this week, but the top of the leaderboard was razor close all night long.

Another unforgettable Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. The brewery was packed, the crowd was amazing, and fun was had by all. From huge comeback rounds to clutch bonus points, every team brought their A-game. The competition keeps getting tougher every week, and that’s exactly why trivia night at Keyworth has become the place to be.
