...at Keyworth Brewing Co. on Trivia Night!

Game 1:
The new faces were intermingled with my regulars tonight and I had 2 fun games coming their way. As food was delivered and the beers were poured, we started game 1!
With 2 great rounds, we had B-1 and Hot ‘n’ Sour Soup sitting in first place with 11 points. But the competition was good tonight and Beer is Life and K’s were just 1 point behind, at 10. Matthew McConaughey’s rounded out our top 5 teams.
As I tend to do, I thought I would mix in some bonus questions and try to avoid a tie. Last week, that bit me in the arse! Getting Hot instead of Sour, Hot ‘n’ Sour Soup spooned out 8 points in round 3, which with their bonus point, gave them a 3-point lead over B-1 and the WIN in game 1! Fighting to keep in 2nd place, with 6 points and 1 bonus point, B-1 edged out Beer is life by a single point to take 2nd place! From 2nd place to last place, each team was separated by a single point. This could have been anybody’s game! What would game 2 bring?

Game 2:
As we all recovered from game 1, did a mental reboot, and got a fresh beer, we were finally ready to start game 2! 3 Teams were ready to go as O’Trivia Newton John, Beer is Life and Hot ‘n’ Sour Soup all had a great start with 5 points. The Matthew McConaughey’s were still in the mix with 4 points.
Round 2 we had a change at the top! With an Alright, Alright, Alright, Matthew McConaughey’s found themselves in 1st place after taking an amazing 10 points in round 2! O’Trivia Newton John found themselves outdance by Beer is life in round 2 as they fell to 3rd place. Hot ‘n’ Sour Soup had a distinct, sour taste in their mouth as they saw themselves drop into a tie for 4th.
Here we go, last round, last dance, and a last alright as round 3 started. Staying consistent and taking 5 points, Beer is life had a great game topping at 18! But alas, something was not brewed right as they suddenly found themselves in 3rd place. O’Trivia Newton John danced and sang their way into 2nd place as they had an amazing round 3, with 10 points! However, banging their chests and humming, in a meditative way as we saw in Wolf of Wallstreet, Matthew McConaughey’s were relaxed and confident as they took 8 points in round 3 and were able to stave off O’Trivia Newton John and take 1st place!
What a great ending to a great night! If you have not joined us yet, you need to as these teams are competitive, the beer is amazing, and the atmosphere is always great!
