Thursday night trivia at Keyworth Brewing Co. was nothing short of electric. The brewery was absolutely packed, the beer was flowing, and the competition was fierce as a massive crowd turned out for two full games of PubGuys Trivia, each featuring three fast-paced rounds with random bonus questions sprinkled throughout. From start to finish, it was loud, competitive, and an absolute blast—and exactly why Thursday nights at Keyworth have become must-attend events.

Game 1 Recap

Game 1 came out swinging with a tightly contested opening round. Guys & Gals and Dept of DEADucation wasted no time establishing themselves as early contenders, both posting strong Round 1 scores and matching one another blow for blow in Round 2. After two rounds, the top of the leaderboard was separated by the slimmest of margins, while The Lager Loggers, Beer is Life, and a hungry mid-pack kept the pressure on.

Round 3 and the bonus points proved decisive. Guys & Gals stayed steady and capitalized on the bonus opportunities to edge ahead, while Dept of DEADucation remained right on their heels. The fight for third was just as intense, with The Lager Loggers and Beer is Life locked in a dead heat. When the dust settled, Guys & Gals claimed first place with 22 points, Dept of DEADucation followed closely with 21, and The Lager Loggers secured third after tiebreakers separated them from Beer is Life.

Game 2 Recap

Game 2 somehow turned the intensity up another notch. Guys & Gals jumped out to an early lead again, but this time Dept of DEADucation was clearly not backing down. After Round 2, the two teams were locked in a tight battle, with Blue Tailed Hawks quietly positioning themselves as a serious threat just behind them.

Then came Round 3—and chaos. Dept of DEADucation exploded with a massive final-round performance, perfectly timed to pull even with Guys & Gals at 19 points apiece. That meant a tie for first, and the crowd knew what was coming next.

One player from each team stepped forward for the 10-second tiebreaker question. Pens flew, answers were handed in, and after a dramatic pause, Guys & Gals emerged victorious, taking first place once again, with Dept of DEADucation settling for a very hard-fought second. Blue Tailed Hawks rounded out the podium with a strong and consistent third-place finish.

From top to bottom, the competition was tough, the brewery was packed, and the energy never dipped for a second. Keyworth Brewing Co. continues to be one of the best trivia crowds around, and Thursday night proved it yet again.
