...PubGuys Trivia! Our 2nd week into the New Year and it was getting crazy competitive at Keyworth Brewing Co.!
Trivia night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was a spectacular evening filled with intellect, laughter, and friendly competition. Hosted by the boisterous and charismatic Angry Irishman, the atmosphere was charged with excitement as teams geared up for a battle of wits.
The first game of the night was a thrilling test of general knowledge. Club Shay Shay took an early lead with 12 points after two rounds, setting the stage for what seemed like a potential runaway victory. However, lurking just behind were formidable contenders – Jive Turkeys, Bluepoint Brewing, EeeBees, and We Didn't Want to Play. With the tension building and only a few points separating the top teams, the competition was fierce.
Club Shay Shay continued to showcase their mental prowess, adding another 6 points in round 3 to solidify their lead and secure the win for the first game. However, the battle for second place was far from over, with Jive Turkeys making a strategic move by earning 5 crucial points in the final round. This propelled them past EeeBees and Bluepoint Brewing, claiming the runner-up position in a nail-biting finish. The closeness of the game left the audience on the edge of their seats, proving that every point counted.

As the dust settled from the intense first game, anticipation filled the air for the second round of trivia. Jive Turkeys, having found their rhythm in the latter part of the previous game, entered with a 3-point lead at the start of game 2. Club Shay Shay, after dominating the first round, faced tough competition from Beer is Life and Jase, both tied at 11 points.
EeeBees and Bluepoint Brewing, sitting within striking distance, knew that a strong performance in round 3 could catapult them into the top two spots. The competition remained fierce as the teams battled through the questions, each hoping for a chance to claim victory.
In a dramatic turn of events, EeeBees made a spectacular move, amassing 7 points in round 3. However, despite their impressive effort, they fell just short of breaking into the top two, settling for a commendable third place. Club Shay Shay fought valiantly, but the 3-point lead secured by Jive Turkeys after two rounds proved insurmountable.
In the end, Jive Turkeys emerged victorious, claiming the coveted first-place spot for game 2. Club Shay Shay secured a respectable second place, showcasing consistency and knowledge throughout the night. EeBees, Bluepoint Brewing, and Beer is Life rounded out the top 5, each team leaving their mark on the fiercely contested trivia night.
