Game 1:
Ugly sweaters, elf ears and Christmas music were all on the agenda tonight as we gathered for our Christmas themed trivia (Movies and TV edition). With 2 rounds down, we had a great game on our hands. The Naughty List were in a comfortable lead at 16 points. Popo Gigio were in second place at 12 points, but we also had Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins, So Scrooged and The Cheer Moms in the mix as well. This would come down to the final round of the game.
With 7 points in round 3, Cotton headed ninny muggings and So Scrooged had their best round. However, would it be enough to take over The Naughty List. Popo Gigio had a good round with 6 points and moved up the ladder, but not enough to take 1st. As the dust settled, we saw that The Naughty List took 1st place with a great 22 points! So Scrooged and The Cheer Moms round out our top 5 and sitting in a tie for 2nd place we had Cotton headed ninny muggings and Popo Gigio!
Sticking with the Christmas theme we had 1 question left to ask: What did Home Alone gross on opening weekend? We had a guess of $85 million and a guess of $125 million. With the answer at $17 million, the closest team was…Cotton headed ninny muggings!

Game 2:
As we sat down with a fresh pint and had a quick mental reboot, we were ready for game 2. Sleigh all day and The Naughty list were unwrapping their presents fast and they were sitting in a tie for 1st place after the first 2 rounds. So Scrooged was in the mix as well with 7 points and Beer for Krampus and the Cheer moms rounded out our top 5 teams. Yet, there was 1 round left and round 3 we would see who would end up on the naughty list or the nice list.
1 round to go for the night and we would see if we had a repeat winner. With 5 points in round 3, The Naughty List was being very naughty as they sabotaged Sleigh all day to take the win! Hanging on by the reigns, Sleigh all day was able to stave off The Cheer Moms, So Scrooged and Cotton headed ninny muggins. Even with a tough round 3 and only 2 points, they were able to squeak out 2nd place by 1 point.
It was an amazing night of Christmas trivia and cheer at Keyworth Brewing Co.. Next Thursday we will be back to general knowledge trivia! So come out, start celebrating Christmas early and enjoy some great beer, order in some food, and play some Trivia!
