Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. delivered everything we love about PubGuys Trivia—packed tables, fierce competition, cold craft beer, BBQ, and the Thursday Night NFL game lighting up the screens. But this week? We added a curveball that absolutely stole the show: for the second week in a row, teams got to see select questions displayed on the TVs around the brewery! It was a game-changer—literally. The excitement in the room doubled, reactions were bigger, and teams leaned in with laser focus. Keyworth was buzzing from the first question to the last.
We ran one big six-round showdown with random bonus questions dropped throughout the night to keep teams sharp and strategic. Seven teams battled for glory, and the leaderboard shifted early and often.
The opening rounds were tight. Beer Pressure, It’s Our Year, and Killer Rabbits all put up strong 4-point starts, while Blue Tailed Hawks and Sour Eggs hovered close behind.
But Round 2 changed everything.
It’s Our Year exploded with a dominant 7-point round, launching themselves into the early lead. Meanwhile, Beer Pressure and Killer Rabbits stayed consistent, and Blue Tailed Hawks posted another solid 4 to remain in striking distance.
After two rounds, the scoreboard looked like this:

…and the rest were still in the hunt.
The crowd was electric—NFL football on the screens, trivia on the TVs, pints in hand. A perfect Thursday blend.
Round 3 proved punishing for several teams, but Blue Tailed Hawks soared with a huge 6-point performance, immediately pulling them into serious contention. Beer Pressure stayed steady, while It’s Our Year stumbled with just 1 point, sending the leaderboard into chaos.
By the end of Round 4, things tightened even more. With both leaders rebounding and contenders closing in, it was becoming clear that this match wasn’t going to be settled early. Every bonus question mattered, and every correct answer felt seismic.
Round 5 saw solid performances almost across the board, but Round 6 is where champions were made.
Beer Pressure and Blue Tailed Hawks both landed massive 7-point final rounds, locking themselves into a dead tie at 29 points each. It’s Our Year made a strong push with another 7, finishing just one point off the leaders at 28.
And that meant one thing…
With the top two teams deadlocked, we moved into the ultimate showdown.
One player from Beer Pressure.
One from Blue Tailed Hawks.
One tie-breaker question.
Ten seconds to write an answer.
The room went silent. Pens hovered. Clocks ticked.
And when answers hit the table—Beer Pressure edged out the Hawks by the slimmest of margins to take the win!
The brewery erupted. The NFL game was great—but this was the real thriller of the night.
