A Packed House, Cold Beer, and Trivia on the Big Screens!
Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was nothing short of electric as PubGuys Trivia took over the brewery once again—this time with our brand-new in-house surprise: trivia questions displayed on the TVs throughout the taproom! Teams loved it, energy levels soared, and the boost in excitement could be felt from the very first question. Add in a packed house, incredible beer, a roaring crowd, and the Thursday Night NFL Game on the screens, and you had the perfect backdrop for two intense, fast-paced games of trivia madness.
Round 1 set the tone immediately, with Next Michigan Head Coach and Club Shay Shay jumping out to identical 7-point starts. Several teams—including Beer Pressure and Frankie and the Hound Dogs—kept pace early with solid opening rounds, but it was Killer Rabbits who used Round 2 to surge back into the conversation with a huge 8-point performance.
After Round 2, the leaderboard tightened dramatically. Next Michigan Head Coach and Club Shay Shay were deadlocked at 15 points each, while Killer Rabbits and a trio of dark-horse teams—Blue Tailed Hawks, Beer Pressure, and Frankie and the Hound Dogs—started applying pressure from just a few points back. With questions now showing up on the brewery TVs, the crowd noise rose with every answer call-in, and energy spread like wildfire.
Round 3 proved decisive. Next Michigan Head Coach delivered a strong 6-point finish to seal the win, while Club Shay Shay stumbled slightly, ending two points back. Killer Rabbits, bolstered by a bonus point, closed out a gritty performance to secure third.

Game 2 opened with fireworks immediately. Club Shay Shay and Chik-fil-a came out swinging with dominating 7-point Round 1s. Meanwhile, Killer Rabbits—after a strong finish in Game 1—started quietly but launched a comeback attack with a huge 7-point Round 2.
After Round 2, the race tightened again. Club Shay Shay held a narrow edge, but Chik-fil-a stayed right on their heels. Killer Rabbits lurked just behind, poised to pounce. The energy inside Keyworth reached peak levels as teams huddled tightly, the NFL game roaring in the background, and trivia questions shining across the big screens.
Round 3 ended with the ultimate trivia twist: a tie for first! Both Club Shay Shay and Chik-fil-a finished with 17 points, triggering our signature 10-second tie-breaker showdown. One brave player from each team approached the table, pencils shaking and eyes locked in concentration.
When the dust settled, Club Shay Shay edged out the win by coming closest to the tie-breaker answer—claiming Game 2 glory.
