Trivia Night Recap – Keyworth Brewing Co.
Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. brought another lively installment of PubGuys Trivia, where locals gathered to put their brains to the test over two fun-filled games. With cold beer flowing and good vibes all around, 14 teams battled it out in Game 1, followed by a reshuffled and reinvigorated crowd in Game 2. The energy was high, the questions were tricky, and the competition was fierce.
Game 1 Recap:
In the first game of the evening, Club Shay Shay came out on top with a well-balanced performance across all three rounds. They were especially strong in the final round, scoring 11 points—the highest in that round—and clinched the win with a bonus point to finish at 24. Close behind was the cleverly named ...And in first place..., who stayed consistent and finished with 22 points. Snow White and the Dorks rounded out the top three, posting a solid score of 21 with steady progress through the rounds.
Further down the leaderboard, Did You Know? We Don’t Know lived up to their name but still managed a respectable 18. The Blue Tailed Hawks and Killer Rabbit found themselves in the middle of the pack, while First Timers 2 made their trivia debut and took home the experience with a total of 7 points—room to grow, but a fun start nonetheless!
Game 2 Recap:
Game 2 saw a shakeup in the rankings and a fierce comeback from some of the earlier teams. Snow White and the Dorks were back with a vengeance, this time dominating the scoreboard with a total of 22. They were the only team to earn a 2-point bonus, which helped push them to the top in a tight contest.
Healthy Hearts and Killer Rabbit tied for second place, both scoring 20 points with mirror-image performances: strong starts in Round 1 and consistent play throughout. These teams showed great improvement from Game 1 and proved their staying power in the trivia arena.
There was a logjam at 15 points for fourth place, with Club Shay Shay, ...And in first place..., and 3G! all finishing neck-and-neck. It was a testament to how competitive and unpredictable Game 2 can be, even for top performers from earlier.
New entries like The Overlook and C&C added to the diversity of the crowd, while returning teams like No Shows, The Winkles, and Dumb Shits rounded out the leaderboard with respectable efforts and plenty of laughs along the way.
