Thursday night trivia at Keyworth Brewing Co. was everything we love about PubGuys Trivia—wall-to-wall teams, cold beer flowing, and two hard-fought games packed with laughs, groans, and clutch answers when it mattered most. The brewery was absolutely packed, the energy stayed high all night, and the competition was fierce from the first question to the final bonus.

Game 1 Recap

Game 1 opened with a tight first round that saw I Don’t Know We Don’t Know jump out early, but nobody was pulling away yet. After Round 2, the leaderboard tightened even more as Poppy Knows Best surged forward with a strong middle round, while Beer Pressure stayed right on their heels. Going into the final round, it was anyone’s game among the top four.

Round 3 proved decisive. Poppy Knows Best delivered a dominant final round performance and paired it with a timely bonus to lock up first place. Behind them, I Don’t Know We Don’t Know and Beer Pressure finished tied for second, forcing a single, high-pressure tiebreaker. One player from each team had just 10 seconds to submit their answer. When the dust settled, I Don’t Know We Don’t Know edged it out, pushing Beer Pressure into third.

Game 2 Recap

After a quick reset—and more beer poured—Game 2 brought an entirely new vibe. Cowboys 36 Week Bye started strong out of the gate, but by the end of Round 2 the standings flipped. Killer Rabbits found their rhythm, hopping into the lead with a big second round while Did You Know We Don’t Know and The Dirty 2some stayed neck-and-neck just behind them.

Round 3 was all about holding your nerve. Killer Rabbits stayed consistent and avoided costly misses, while the battle for second turned into a dead heat between Did You Know We Don’t Know and The Dirty 2some. With another tie inside the top two, it was back to the tiebreaker table—one rep per team, 10 seconds on the clock, no room for second guesses. Did You Know We Don’t Know came up clutch, claiming second and sliding The Dirty 2some into third.

From start to finish, the crowd was loud, engaged, and ready for anything—especially the random bonus questions that kept teams guessing and the leaderboard constantly shifting. The competition is always tough at Keyworth, the brewery is always packed, and Thursday nights continue to deliver some of the best trivia energy in town.
