Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was one for the books. The taproom was packed wall-to-wall, every table full, cold beer flowing, and a great lineup of PubGuys Trivia regulars and newcomers ready to battle it out. But this week came with a twist: we brought in a brand-new setup to display the questions on two TV screens throughout the brewery. The reaction was immediate and electric—teams were locked in, heads up, and the gameplay felt bigger, louder, and more engaging than ever. Add in the Thursday Night NFL game playing alongside the action, and Keyworth turned into the ultimate Thursday hangout spot.

Game 1 Recap

Game 1 kicked off with a bang. The early rounds saw strong starts across the board—Okapi, Aces of Spades, More Tacos, and Post Baseball Blues all came out firing with near-perfect first rounds. After Round 2, Okapi and Aces of Spades were sitting neck-and-neck, each holding onto impressive totals and positioning themselves at the top of the leaderboard. Meanwhile, Killer Rabbits and Crafty stayed just behind, waiting for any slip-up.

Round 3 is where things tightened. With every point mattering and bonus questions popping up at random, tension built across the tables. At the end of regulation, we had a tie for first place—Okapi and Aces of Spades both finishing with 11 points.

And you know what that means: Tie Breaker Time. One player from each team came forward, ten seconds to write down their guess, no help, no hesitation, winner takes first place. The brewery was dead silent, and then—boom—Okapi edged out Aces of Spades by the slimmest margin to claim the first game crown.

Game 2 Recap

Game 2 brought the energy up another level. The Killer Rabbits, hungry after their close finish in Game 1, came out absolutely flying, dropping high scores in Rounds 1 and 2 before sealing their night with a dominant Round 3. Okapi stayed right on their heels all game long, matching intensity and refusing to fall away. Crafty, Blue Tailed Hawks, and More Tacos settled into the middle of the pack, each making pushes when bonus questions hit.

After Round 2, Killer Rabbits held a slight edge over Okapi, with Crafty close enough to strike. But Round 3 belonged to Killer Rabbits, who finished strong and held onto the top spot with 22 points. Okapi finished just one point behind, and Crafty locked down third with a confident performance and a bonus point along the way.
