Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was everything a trivia lover dreams of—packed house, cold beer, NFL Thursday Night Football on the screens, and a brand-new surprise twist: PubGuys Trivia rolled out in-brewery TV displays for our questions! The crowd went nuts for it, and the energy was electric from start to finish. With two full games, each packed with shifting leads, big swings, and fierce competition, this was easily one of our most dynamic trivia nights yet.
Game 1 opened with ten teams ready to battle for bragging rights. Gravy Gobblers came out swinging, posting a strong 7 points in Round 1, taking the early lead. But lurking right behind them were The Cliff Clavens, P.D., and Killer Rabbits, all within striking distance.
Round 2 brought the heat.
The Cliff Clavens surged forward with a massive 9-point round, stealing the lead.
P.D., Killer Rabbits, and Did You Know? We Don’t Know all posted solid mid-range scores to keep things tight.
Meanwhile, early front-runners Gravy Gobblers lost momentum, slipping out of the top three.
By the end of Round 3, despite low scoring across the board, The Cliff Clavens held strong and never let go of their lead. No tie breaker was needed—just consistent accuracy and calm under pressure.
The Cliff Clavens – 18
P.D. – 16
Killer Rabbits – 14
With the brewery buzzing and NFL football lighting up the screens, Game 2 began with even more intensity. The Cliff Clavens, riding the momentum of their first victory, once again took an early lead with 7 points in Round 1—but this time, multiple teams were close behind.
Round 2 showed how close this game really was:
The Cliff Clavens stayed out front with another strong round.
Killer Rabbits and Beer Pressure kept pace, tying each other and setting the stage for a wild finish.
Lower in the pack, Gravy Gobblers and P.D., both strong Game 1 performers, worked to climb back into contention.
Round 3 delivered drama—exactly what Thursday trivia fans crave.
The Cliff Clavens dropped a massive 8-point round, sealing their second victory of the night.
Killer Rabbits and Beer Pressure ended tied for second at 13 points each, triggering the 10-second tie breaker.
One player from each team stepped up. Answers down. Pens dropped. The room went silent.
Beer Pressure edged out Killer Rabbits by the closest of margins, taking 2nd place and leaving Killer Rabbits with a well-earned 3rd.
The Cliff Clavens – 22
Beer Pressure – 13 (won tie breaker)
Killer Rabbits – 13
Another unforgettable Thursday at Keyworth Brewing Co. The crowd was loud, the competition fierce, the new TV question display a huge hit, and the beer flowing all night long.
Thanks to everyone who packed the house—we’ll see you next Thursday!
